1960 "Goggo-Camino"

Here's another car from the seller of the Mini cabriolet I wrote about yesterday. It's a one-of-a-kind Goggomobil T250 modified into a pick-up in Germany for a movie in the '80s. It's located in Conencticut and currently listed on eBay.

Goggomobil was a line of 2-cyllinder 2-stroke microcars produced by Glas in Bavaria from 1955-1969. This car started out as a four seat coupe and actually still has it's rear seats below the bed. It's loaded up with a lot of great accessories like headlight eyebrows, windsheild visor, and roof rack.

It appears to be well maintained and in pretty good condition. This little car can only do about 45-50 mph according to the seller, but it would be a lot of fun around town or at the beach, and would be a hit at car shows.

The car is listed here on eBay in West Haven, CT.

  1. I've seen this car a couple of times at New England car shows. It is one of the more bizarre cars I have ever seen. Cool, but bizarre.

I would have liked to have seen it when it had the "tiny space ship in the back of the pick-up bed"!
